Colour houses rarely fail because a pigment was not bright enough. They fail because the second drum did not match the first.
Texcoat Colors LLP is a limited liability partnership manufacturing organic pigment powders from two locations in Gujarat: a pigment plant at G.I.D.C. Saykha in the Bharuch chemical belt, and finishing and warehousing at Kadadra near Gandhinagar. We keep the range deliberately narrow, which is why we can hold it steady.
Every grade carries a retained master standard. Shade is checked against it before release, and the technical data sheet you receive states exactly what is in the bag: C.I. name and number, C.A.S. number, specific gravity, oil absorption, sieve residue, moisture, conductivity, heat and light fastness, and the substrates it is cleared for.

Five systems, one supply
The same chemistry behaves differently in a print paste, an emulsion and a masterbatch. Grades are selected and conditioned for the system they are going into.

From your specification to a sealed bag

Specification
You send a C.I. number, a physical standard, or the end use. We confirm the chemistry, the shade direction and the fastness window the pigment has to survive.

Synthesis
Coupling and condensation run to a fixed recipe at Saykha. Checks happen at each stage, not only on the finished lot.
- 03
Conditioning
Particle size, crystal form and surface treatment are set for the system the pigment is going into. A masterbatch grade and an ink grade are not the same powder.
- 04
Release
Every lot is drawn down against the retained master. Shade, strength, sieve residue and moisture all have to fall inside spec before it is packed.
